COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — A night club that’s been in Coeur d’Alene for the past 28 years is closing its doors permanently later this month.
Mik’s on North Fourth Street will be closing permanently on February 14.
According to the business, a change in Idaho liquor laws took away its ability to lease a liquor license.
“We have always leased ours, but licenses have to be owner-operated throughout the state now,” Mik’s said in a social media post.
Mik’s will be hosting a Mardi Gras themed party on its final day of operation, Feb. 14.
“We love our city and community. We love our customers and family. Thank you to all who celebrated and partied with us over the years!” Mik’s posted on its social media.
