SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — Spokane County Sheriff’s Office detectives have arrested a 26-year-old man in connection with multiple construction site burglaries across the county.
Andrew A. Mackey was booked into the Spokane County Jail on Dec. 23, 2025, on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges, along with unrelated arrest warrants.
Detectives began investigating the burglaries in December 2025 after receiving reports of stolen tools, building materials, appliances and electronics from construction sites throughout the county.
Investigators identified Mackey as a suspect after discovering social media posts where he appeared to be selling property that matched stolen items. They also identified vehicles registered to Mackey that matched those used during the burglaries.
Detectives obtained a search warrant for Mackey’s vehicles and a home near E. 1st Street and S. Napa Street. During the search, they seized tools, construction materials, appliances and electronics believed to be stolen, along with two vehicles and approximately $2,500 in cash.
Investigators have recovered more than $17,000 in stolen property, with much returned to victims.
On Jan. 9, detectives served another search warrant at a second location and seized additional suspected stolen property.
The case remains under investigation, and additional charges are possible.
