SPOKANE, Wash. — Multiple facilities around the city of Spokane will be closed on Monday for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
According to the city, Spokane City Hall, Spokane Municipal Court and Community Justice Services as well as other city facilities will be closed on Monday, Jan. 19.
All Spokane Public Library branches will also be closed for the holiday.
On-street parking meters and kiosks will not require payment on the holiday, but all parking rules, including time limits, will still apply.
The Spokane City Council will not meet on Monday, Jan. 19. Council meetings will resume on Jan. 26.
The city says garbage and recycling pickup services will proceed as usual. The Waste to Energy Facility, along with the County transfer stations, will be open.
