SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — Look for the helpers! Spokane County firefighters helped an elderly couple shovel snow from their driveway while responding to a medical call.
According to Spokane County Fire District 8, first responders were called around 4 a.m. to a home for a medical call.
Firefighters transported a woman to the hospital but say her husband was having trouble getting out of the house due to the snowfall.
Crews then helped shovel the couple’s driveway so the husband could go to his wife at the hospital.
