MOSCOW, Idaho — The Moscow Fire Department has noticed a notable increase in call volume over the past several years.
The fire department says it is seen a steady increase in call volume over the past decade. In 2024, the department saw a significant increase in incidents, followed by an additional rise last year.
The fire department says 2025 marked the highest call volume in the department’s history with 3,046 calls.
The department says it will use this data to support future planning, resource allocation, and budget discussions for the upcoming budget year and beyond.
