Idaho State Police has located the pickup truck believed to be responsible in a fatal hit-and-run crash near Plummer Friday night.
This is an ongoing investigation.

Idaho State Police have identified a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado as the vehicle that struck and killed a female pedestrian in a hit-and-run crash on Highway 95 in Plummer, but the driver remains at large, according to authorities.
Through continued investigation, troopers identified the suspect vehicle as having Washington license plate D71892H and being registered to a Spokane residence, police said. The registered owner has not been confirmed as the driver, according to ISP.
Troopers and local law enforcement are working to locate the vehicle and determine who was driving during the crash on northbound US Highway 95 at D Street, authorities said.
ISP continues to seek the public’s help and asks anyone with information to contact the ISP Regional Communication Center at 208-209-8730.

A woman died in a hit-and-run crash on northbound Highway 95 and D Street in Plummer on Friday evening.
According to Idaho State Police, a pickup truck, possibly silver or tan, was driving north on the highway around 5 p.m. when it hit a woman in the roadway and failed to stop.
Witnesses report the truck turned around and drove southbound on US Highway 95.
Despite life-saving efforts, the woman died from her injuries.
Highway 95 was completely blocked for multiple hours while ISP and the Coeur d’Alene Tribal Police processed the scene.
