SPOKANE, Wash. — Wake Up Call coffee shops will offer free drinks to veterans and Gold Star families on Veterans Day as part of the company’s annual tribute to military service members.
All veterans and Gold Star families can receive a complimentary beverage of 20 ounces or smaller at any Wake Up Call location on Tuesday, Nov. 11. The company operates stores in Spokane, Coeur d’Alene, Tri-Cities, Walla Walla and Yakima.
“This year, we are explicitly and proudly extending our invitation to Gold Star families, who have borne an immeasurable loss in defense of our freedoms,” said Courtney Evans with Wake Up Call.
Gold Star families are those who have lost a family member while serving in the U.S. military.
The Veterans Day promotion builds on Wake Up Call’s existing military support programs.
The company provides a 20% discount year-round to veterans, active-duty service members and first responders at all locations.
