SPOKANE, Wash. — The City of Spokane is reminding people of some changes that will be happening next week due to Veterans Day.
On Tuesday, Nov. 11, on-street parking meters and kiosks will not require payment, but all parking rules, including time limits, still apply.
Riverfront Park will also offer complimentary Looff Carrousel rides for all military members, both active and retired, and their families.
Spokane Public Library branches, the Spokane Municipal Court and Community Justice Services will all be closed.
Garbage, recycling, and yard and food waste will proceed on their regular schedule, and the City’s Waste to Energy Facility will be open. Development Services Center employees will be available. Spokane 311 employees will be available for in-person, phone, or online customer service inquiries.
