Sabrina Carpenter kicked off her sold-out five-night run at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Sunday (Oct. 26), and she made it one to remember — by “arresting” Anne Hathaway.
Before performing her hit “Juno,” Sabrina spotted Hathaway in the crowd and couldn’t resist making her the next “Juno girl” on her growing list of celebrity arrests. “It’s a crime to be this gorgeous. Hello, what’s your name? You’re Anne, wow! I just don’t know what to do when I see a face like this,” Sabrina joked as the actress appeared on the jumbotron, rocking a black top and navy jeans.
Anne totally played along, saying she came “all the way from Genovia,” nodding to her Princess Diaries role. Sabrina blushed and replied, “Has anyone ever told you you look like a princess? I’m in the presence of a princess, I’m getting so flustered. Anne, can I arrest you for being the most perfect princess in the world?”
She then handed over a pair of pink handcuffs, dedicating “Juno” to Hathaway. The Oscar winner joins a growing list of “Juno girls” that already includes Gigi Hadid, Millie Bobby Brown, Margaret Qualley, and Emma Bunton.
Only Sabrina could turn a Madison Square Garden show into a royal moment. 👑
