SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — Deputies are searching for a man who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint in Spokane Valley early Monday morning, according to Spokane County Sheriff’s Office.
Around 2:30 a.m. on October 20, Spokane Valley deputies responded to a reported armed robbery at a 711 store near Park Road and Broadway Avenue.
Deputies said the victim who reported the crime said a man came into the store and brought several items to the register, before going behind the counter and pulling out what appeared to be a pistol.
The victim said the man demanded he open the cash register. The suspect then gathered all the cash from the drawer, multiple packs of cigarettes and other items and stuffed them into a black backpack before leaving.
The victim was not physically harmed.
SCSO said the suspect appears to be a white man around 30 or 40 years old, but possibly younger, with a tattoo on his right cheek and a patch of facial hair on his chin.
He was wearing a two-toned black and dark brown or green jacket with a hood, a baseball hat, dark pants and black shoes.
He is believed to have left the store on a bicycle.
