SPOKANE, Wash. — This weekend you can get outside, enjoy the crisp fall weather and support an important cause during the Spokane Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
On Saturday, October 11, The Alzheimer’s Association will host its annual ‘Walk to End Alzheimer’s’ event in Riverfront Park.
According to The Alzheimer’s Association, there are more than 126,000 people living with Alzheimer’s in Washington.
During the walk, participants carry flowers of various colors representing their personal connections to the disease.
Money raised by the walk will fund care, support and research programs at The Alzheimer’s Association.
