After a foggy morning, more scattered rain showers are possible this afternoon. Temperatures will stay on the cool side and more patchy fog is likely tonight.
What We’re Tracking
Unsettled weather will continue through Thursday with showers and isolated thunderstorms possible this afternoon, mainly in the central Idaho Panhandle.
Drier conditions are expected on Friday into the weekend, but a few mountain showers will remain a possibility. It won’t be a perfectly clear sky.
Beginning Friday, cooler, drier air filters in from the north. By the time we get to Sunday, we’ll be looking at chilly morning temperatures with a risk of frost. Temperatures on Sunday morning are likely to drop into the lower 30s across the northern mountain valleys. Monday morning looks frosty too, so be ready to protect any sensitive plants in your gardens early next week.
