PULLMAN, Wash. — If you need an “extra hand” celebrating and supporting all things WSU, then you might be interested in the University’s latest giving campaign.
On Tuesday, WSU announced WSU Athletics and beloved mascot, Butch T. Cougar, have partnered with the ‘My Hand My Cause’ program.
My Hand My Cause is a nonprofit initiative that raises money for various charities by producing ‘life-size, museum-quality’ prints of celebrities’ hands.
Butch T. Cougar is the first collegiate mascot in the United States to partner with the organization, launching the ‘My Paws My Cause’ campaign for WSU.
The final product is a 12×16 professional, close-up photograph of Butch’s paws, along with his signature. The photo is perfect to hang on the wall of any proud Coug!
Up to 250 of the prints will be available for purchase. Net proceeds will go toward student-athlete scholarships in the Cougar Athletic Fund.
