COEUR D’ALENE, IDAHO — Police are asking for the community’s help investigating who attacked a woman and left her severely injured in Coeur d’Alene.
According to Coeur d’Alene Police, officers were called to E. Skyline Drive near Cherry Hill Park for reports of an unconscious elderly woman on Thursday around 5:20 p.m.
Officers say the woman had life-threatening injuries and there was a significant amount of blood. She was transported to Kootenai Health, and her current status is unknown.
Officers says it appears the woman was attacked sometime between Wednesday around noon and Thursday when the incident was reported.
