SPOKANE — Spokane Public Schools and Spokane Parks and Recreation will host four regional Town Hall presentations this fall to share information about the Together Spokane measure on the ballot this November.
If passed, the joint initiative aimed at improving schools, parks and neighborhoods across Spokane would provide a $240 million levy to Parks and Recreation over 20 years and a $200 million bond to SPS over 20 years.
The Town Hall meetings will be attended by both SPS Superintendent Dr. Adam Swinyard and Parks & Rec Director Garrett Jones and will provide updates on proposed projects within regional neighborhoods.
It will also offer community members the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback.
All residents are encouraged to attend any session that fits their schedule. Recordings of each event will be made available after the presentations.
