Spokane, Wash. – The Spokane Zephyr are back at ONE Spokane Stadium this weekend opening their second season at home with a rivalry match against Fort Lauderdale. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. Saturday.
The matchup carries extra weight — Fort Lauderdale handed Spokane a tough loss last year. Now, the Zephyr are looking to turn the tables in front of a hometown crowd.
Fans will also get their first look at the team’s new jerseys and several new players added to the roster this season. The mix of fresh talent and returning veterans has Spokane buzzing about what this group can achieve in year two.
But the fun isn’t just on the field. The home opener will feature games, giveaways, and a chance to win local gift cards. Adults can enjoy the beer garden, while families can soak in the atmosphere of Spokane’s first women’s professional soccer team.
Community Engagement Director Reilly Harnetiaux says the opener is about more than soccer — it’s about bringing the community together and making sure everyone feels part of the excitement.
Tickets for Saturday’s game are available at USLSpokane.com or at the stadium box office.
With a new look, new players, and unfinished business against Fort Lauderdale, the Zephyr are ready to launch season two in front of a Spokane crowd.
