COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — The firefighter who survived an ambush on Coeur d’Alene’s Canfield Mountain is continuing to heal.
The Coeur d’Alene Firefighters posted a statement from the family of Dave Tysdal on social media Thursday. You can read the full statement below:
“Dave, Annie and their children would like to thank the community and folks from all over the United States for their continued support. Though Dave is still unable to move his legs, his gunshot wound, clavicle, lungs, and arm strength are getting better and better each day. We can’t thank everyone enough for supporting us through this difficult time.”
The Red and Blue Foundation continues to gather donations to help Tysdal and his family during his recovery. Click HERE to donate.
