As you head out on the road for the holiday weekend, officials want to make sure you and your family are safe from potential fire risks.
According to the Idaho Bureau of Land Management, many roadside fires spark from tires that are worn when metal wires inside the tread fall out and scrape against the road.
BLM said before you take your car, truck or RV out, take a moment to check that all of your tires are properly maintained.
“Please complete this safety check before embarking on that fun-filled family adventure,” said BLM.
