SPOKANE, Wash. — A heads up for drivers through Spokane and Spokane Valley next week.
Starting Sunday, August 24, Washington Department of Transportation will have mobile closures in both directions of I-90 from Geiger Boulevard near the Spokane Airport to Pines Road in Spokane Valley.
The closures are for sweeping the roadway. WSDOT says the closures will begin at 4 a.m. and go until 1 p.m. from Sunday until Wednesday, August 27.
Crews plan to be off the road during peak commute hours, but drivers should still prepare to slow down.
