PULLMAN, Wash. — The city of Pullman announced part of Reaney Park Pool will be closed the rest of the summer.
The city announced that broken glass was discovered near the rec pool and it is possible some fragments may have got into the water.
The Rec Pool will be fully drained and refilled. With only a few days left of the season though and ongoing drought conditions, it will not be able to reopen again this year.
The city says the lap pool and splash pad will stay open and available for use.
Reaney Park Pool is open daily through Sunday, August 24.
The pool will be closed from August 25 through August 30 for the start of the school year. It will reopen for Labor Day weekend from August 30 through September 1.
