STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. — Fire crews are responding to a wildfire burning on the Spokane Reservation on Wednesday afternoon, according to Stevens County Fire District 1.
Around 5 p.m. on August 20, firefighters responded to a visible smoke column on the Spokane Reservation, near the Cottonwood area.
SCFD1 said the fire is burning at about 50-75 acres and threatening multiple buildings.
Firefighters will be using water from Long Lake to help control the flames.
As of 6 p.m., no evacuations are in place.
