MOSCOW, Idaho — A district court judge has temporarily blocked the City of Moscow from posting specific records in the Bryan Kohberger murder case.
Idaho Second District Judge Marshall issued the temporary restraining order on Aug. 15, prohibiting the city from releasing any images, audio or video depicting the inside of victim Maddison Mogen’s bedroom until a hearing on a preliminary injunction.
Karen Laramie, Mogen’s mother, filed the petition on Aug. 12 following Moscow’s recent release of redacted crime scene photos in response to a public records request.
Judge Marshall found that certain portions of videos and photographs, specifically including unreleased body camera video, could constitute an unwarranted invasion of privacy.
Moscow officials announced they will not provide any further releases of photographs or videos depicting the inside of any victims’ bedrooms until the court decides the matter.
