ATHOL, Idaho — Speed limits along Highway 95 have been reduced due to a wildfire burning north of Athol.

According to the Idaho Transportation Department, the speed limit between Granite Hill and Blacktail Road is now 55 miles per hour to support firefighting efforts and public safety.
Idaho State Patrol will have troopers in the area to make sure drivers follow the reduced speed limits, helping with the safety and efficiency of fire operations.
Drivers should follow the posted speed limit, slow down and be careful when traveling through the area.
