SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — A new performing arts center in Spokane Valley just received donations amounting to over $1 million.
The Idaho Central Spokane Valley Performing Arts Center (ICSVPAC) is currently under construction on East Mansfield Avenue near the Spokane Valley Mall.
So far, the project is about 19% complete. The center said the donation is critical in helping construction to resume.
Another donation will also cover a 500% rent increase for Spokane Valley Summer Theater to continue using the Central Valley School District’s facilities next year, ensuring a 2026 theater season.
Spokane Valley Summer Theater said the new center in Spokane Valley is expected to generate $32 million annually into the local community.
The center will feature a 463+ seat main stage, a 220 seat studio theater, a youth acting conservatory area and event/business meeting space.
It is expected to open in 2026.
