SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — A wildfire broke out near homes in Valleyford on Tuesday afternoon, according to Spokane County Fire District 8.
Around 4:30 p.m. on August 12, SCFD8 responded to a roughly 1-acre wildfire burning near homes along South Valley Chapel Road.
SCFD8 said firefighters used a 400 ft hose line to slow the fire and protect nearby homes.
Fire crews said they were working toward full containment.
As of 9:45 p.m., no update has been provided.
