CHENEY, Wash. – The Eastern Washington Eagles are 19 days away from their first game of the 2025 season and head coach Aaron Best along with the players agree there’s still a lot of work to be done this fall camp.
“All and all, we’ve been okay,” said Best. “We’ve got a few bumps and bruises like everybody else but I think we sucked it up pretty good today… pleased with our progress.”
The Eagles are playing a scrimmage in Spokane on Thursday. They’ll host the Red vs. White scrimmage at ONE Spokane Stadium at 6 p.m. The players are excited to show a glimpse of what the team has to offer and playing in live, game-like situations.
“I think it’ll be a good time,” said receiver Noah Cronquist. “It shows that we are Spokane’s team. Hopefully we can get the city out there and get a lot of people to support us.”
