OKANOGAN COUNTY, Wash. — Two women were injured in a crash on Highway 20 north of Winthrop early Sunday morning, according to Washington State Patrol.
Around 5:45 a.m. on August 10, WSP responded to a crash on Highway 20, about 14 miles northwest of Winthrop.
WSP said one car, with two women inside, was traveling west on Highway 20 when it left the road and crashed into two small trees and a barbed wire fence.
Both the driver and the passenger were transported to a nearby hospital for their injuries.
WSP said the driver is suspected to have been under the influence.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
