SPOKANE, Wash. — If you’re looking for a family-friendly event this weekend to cool off, the Summer Splash Party will be held on Saturday, August 9, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in downtown Spokane.
The event is a free, family-friendly block party that invites kids and their families to enjoy outdoor games, hands-on activities, and lively entertainment at 211 North Wall Street. It’s hosted by GLOW Children Early Learning Center.
The Summer Splash Party will feature “water games to cool off, engaging activities, and upbeat tunes to keep the energy high.”
Downtown Spokane Partnership says the event is designed to celebrate the joy of summer while fostering community connection.
“Events like the Summer Splash Party are all about the connection between families and neighbors,” said Elisabeth Hooker, Vice President of Marketing & Programming for the Downtown Spokane Partnership. “We’re excited to partner with GLOW to bring something new and unexpected to downtown, a neighborhood-style block party in the heart of our city.”
