UPDATE, 5:59 p.m. on July 31: Okanogan County Emergency Management issued Level 2 (Be Ready) evacuations for everyone living south of Davis Lake to Balky Hill Road.
Level 3 (GO NOW) evacuations are in place from Stud Horse Mountain to Davis Lake.

OKANOGAN COUNTY, Wash. — Level 3 (GO NOW) evacuations have been issued for the Stud Horse Mountain area in Winthrop due to a wildfire.
According to Okanogan County Emergency Management, the evacuations are from the Pearrygin Lake side of the mountain to halfway down the Winthrop side of the mountain.
Emergency management says the fire is moving fast. People should evacuate north, away from the fire.
People living in the area should evacuate immediately.

The Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office says this is one of multiple wildfires reported in the county today. Residents should be aware of their surroundings and take action to keep themselves safe.
