SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — UPDATE at 9 p.m. – Avista restored power to nearly 2,000 customers whose power went out on Wednesday evening.
As of 9 p.m., two power outages, each over 100 customers, are still active. One is near Indiana Avenue and Sullivan Road, and the other is near 16th Avenue and Bowdish Road.
Avista said crews are working to restore power, but did not give an expected restoration time.

UPDATE at 7 p.m. – Over 100 additional Avista customers are without power on Wednesday night.
Around 7 p.m. on July 30, 164 Avista customers lost power in Spokane Valley. The outage roughly splans from 8th Avenue to 20th Avenue, between Bowdish and Pines Road.
Nearly 2,100 other Avista customers are also without power north of there.
No estimated restoration time has been provided for the smaller outage.
Multiple small outages, ranging from 5 to 100 customers, have also been reported across parts of north Spokane, Spokane Valley and Liberty Lake.

Thousands of Avista customers are without power in Spokane Valley on Wednesday evening.
Around 6:30 p.m. on July 30, Avista reported a power outage in Spokane Valley, roughly spanning from Pines Road and I-90 to Sullivan and I-90.
About 2,100 customers are without power.
Avista says crews are working on the outage and power is expected to be restored around 10:30 p.m.
