SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Indians Baseball Club and Spokane Riverkeeper are inviting everyone to come clean up the river next week.
The Redband Rally will take place on Wednesday, August 6, from 10 a.m. to noon at Redband Park.
Volunteers will be cleaning up along the bank and trails on the river’s edge. You might even spot Ribby the Redband Trout making a surprise appearance to cheer you on.
Cleaning supplies and water will be provided.
All volunteers are asked to wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and bring any food or snacks they will need to keep going.
All ages are welcome, but children must be supervised.
