SPOKANE, Wash. — Come out for an unforgettable day of community, celebration and giving at the 2025 Community Celebration in Spokane.
The event is happening on Saturday, August 9 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Underhill Park. It includes family-fun activities, face painting, free food and drinks, raffles and a live DJ.
There will also be a free back-to-school shoe giveaway and backpacks and school supplies for children.
This year’s event will also feature a community talent show from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. All aes are welcome to participate and there will be prizes for the winners.
Event organizers are planning to serve over 5,000 local children at this completely free event. You can learn more about the talent show by clicking here.
“With recent funding cuts impacting families across Spokane, the need is greater than ever,” said the Way to Justice, organizers of this event. “If you say you’re about community, this is where you show up.”
