COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — With summer temperatures rising, the Coeur d’Alene Fire Department is offering families a fun way to beat the heat.
The department will host its “Rain in the Park” event on Saturday, July 19, at 2 p.m. in McEuen Park.
Firefighters will station a fire engine in the park and turn on the hoses, creating a cool spray for kids and adults alike.
The event is open to the public, and families are encouraged to stop by, meet local firefighters, and enjoy the water.
Children can also receive a fire hat and sticker while learning about fire safety.
