LINCOLN COUNTY, Wash. — Some firefighters will begin to demobilize as a wildfire near Davenport is nearly fully contained.
The Western Pines Fire is now 95% contained and has burned about 9 square miles, or 5,700 acres.
Firefighters say smoke will be visible over the next couple days as fuels within the fire line are burned and smolder.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office lifted all evacuation orders at 8 a.m. Friday.
The fire has been determined to be human caused but the specifics are under investigation.
