STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. — The Northwest Incident Management Team will work spot fires Wednesday on a wildfire burning north of Kettle Falls.
The Hope Fire has burned 7,400 acres, or about 11.5 square miles and is located about five miles southwest of Northport. The fire is 16% contained.
On Wednesday, crews will work on establishing and strengthening fire lines and mopping up.
Evacuations are still in place for areas immediately around the fire. The latest can be found on the Stevens County Emergency Management Facebook.
