SPOKANE, Wash. — If you’ve been looking for a sign to add a furry friend to your life, here’s your chance!
July 21 – July 27 is National Adoption Week and Spokane Humane Society is partnering with PetSmart Charities to bring adoptable pets to Spokane.
Pets of all ages, breeds and temperaments are looking for their forever home and will be available to meet in a spacious area at the adoption center.
Staff and volunteers will be on site to help potential new pet parents spend time and get to know the adoptable dogs, puppies, cats and kittens.
“Adopting a pet saves more than one life. Every pet who finds a home frees up space for shelters to help the next animal in need,” said Spokane Humane Society in a press release.
The Adoption Week event will take place July 21-27, every day from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Northpointe PetSmart (9950 N. Newport Highway) in Spokane.
