COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — Coeur d’Alene firefighter Dave Tysdal was all smiles as he was escorted by his family out of Kootenai Health Tuesday morning.
Tysdal is heading to a rehab facility in Colorado as he continues to recover from a gunshot he received while responding to a wildfire last month.
Tysdal and Battalion Chiefs Frank Harwood and John Morrison were shot in an ambush on Canfield Mountain in Coeur d’Alene. Morrison and Harwood were killed.
Vast Apparel in Idaho Falls has set up a fundraiser for Tysdal and his family. With every apparel item purchased at this link, all of the proceeds will directly support Tysdal.
