COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — The community continues to step up to help the families of three firefighters ambushed while responding to a wildfire call.
Last week, Cascadia Pizza Co. locations in Coeur d’Alene and Rathdrum donated 100% of sales on Thursday, July 10 to those impacted.
Cascadia announced the community raised $30,050.41.
On Sunday, June 29, firefighters with Coeur d’Alene Fire and Kootenai County Fire and Rescue were ambushed on Canfield Mountain. Two were killed and a third severely injured.
In a statement, Cascadia thanked people for support and being a part of something bigger than pizza.
