CHENEY, Wash. — Get ready for boots, bulls, and big-time excitement because the Cheney Rodeo is back for its 57th year this weekend!
The three-day event kicks off Friday at Bi-Mart Arena, with gates opening at 5 p.m. and the rodeo starting at 7 p.m.
Expect crowd favorites like bull riding, barrel racing, saddle bronc, and more. One of the weekend’s standout performers? A 10-year-old trick rider who’s already wowing crowds with her fearless moves.
It’s more than just rodeo action—there’s live music, food vendors, and activities for all ages. Stick around Friday and Saturday night for a dance party with the Out West Band until 2 a.m. ($5 at the door).
Saturday morning at 10:30, catch the Cheney Rodeo Parade marching down 1st Street from K Street to Cocolalla Street.
On Sunday, the fun continues with Cowboy Church at 9 a.m. and the Rascal Rodeo at 10 a.m. Gates open again at 2 p.m., and the rodeo gets underway at 4 p.m.
