SPOKANE, Wash. — Police arrested a man wanted for intentionally setting multiple fire around downtown Spokane on Tuesday.
Around 7 p.m. on July 9 in Liberty Lake, SPD arrested 37-year-old Chad Horne for arson.
SPD said Horne was wanted in connection to a string of arson fires lit on July 8, including fires near My Fresh Basket and Spokane’s WSU campus.
A total of four structures were set on fire, but no injuries were reported.
Before he was arrested, Horne had last been seen near the Walmart at Sullivan and Broadway in Spokane Valley.
He previously pleaded guilty to reckless burning in 2024.
