Ed Sheeran took a nostalgic turn during his July 5th show when he brought out none other than Wheatus frontman Brendan B. Brown to perform “Teenage Dirtbag” — and yes, it was just as epic as it sounds.
Not only did fans get a surprise guest, but Sheeran also reunited with his childhood bandmates for the special performance. He told the crowd that “Teenage Dirtbag” is one of his top 10 favorite songs ever, and back in the day, he and his band used to cover it during their early gigs. Basically, this moment was a full-circle dream come true.
The performance was part of Sheeran’s summer European tour, which is building major hype ahead of his new album Play, set to drop this September.
