HAUSER, Idaho — A woman was hurt after a pickup truck crashed into her SUV early Tuesday morning, according to Idaho State Police (ISP).
Police said the pickup driver, a 48-year-old man from Hayden, was heading eastbound on Hwy. 53 and ran the light at Prairie Avenue hitting the 61-year-old woman’s Ford Escape.
The impact of that crash pushed her SUV into a Kenworth semi-truck, driven by a 49-year-old Troy, Montana man.
The woman, who lives in Coeur d’Alene, was taken to a hospital by ambulance, and was expected to recover from her injuries.
No one else was seriously hurt.
ISP said the intersection was blocked for about four hours Tuesday morning.
