For a lot of us, our first memory of Willem Dafoe was him going full villain as the Green Goblin in Spider-Man. So when a clip from a 1975 theater production resurfaced, fans were shook.

People are now calling him Willem DaFINE, with one fan saying, “Wow, I’ve never seen him young.” He would’ve been around 20 at the time—Dafoe turns 70 this month (July 22nd, if you’re wondering)—and social media is swooning.
One comment read, “He has the swagger and confidence of a man who knows he’s blessed by the gods.” Another said, “Oh God, he’s just my type help.”
