BONNIE LAKE, Wash. — Firefighters continue to get a handle on the wildfire burning near Bonnie Lake.
According to incident command, the Siegel Fire has burned about 700 acres and is 93% contained.
Crews determined the cause was human, but the specifics are still under investigation.
On Monday, firefighters will continue mop-up efforts and patrol before demobilizing and returning to home districts or other fires.
Local Department of Natural Resources crews will take over the incident.
Firefighters say people may see smoke in the area but that will be from unburned fuels within the containment perimeter.
