BOISE– U.S. Marshals in Idaho say the Wenatchee man wanted for the kidnapping and murder of his three daughters may have been spotted in the Bear Creek area of the Sawtooth National Forest.
32-year-old Travis Caleb Decker is wanted for the murder and kidnapping of 9-year-old Paityn, 8-year-old Evelyn and 5-year-old Olivia.
The U.S. Marshals Service said it received a tip on July 5 from people in the Bear Creek area saying they saw a man who matches Decker’s description.
The person believed to be Decker was described as a white man, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches wearing a black mesh cap, black gauged earrings, a black Garmin-style watch, either Converse or Vans shoes, a black Jan Sport backpack, a cream-colored t-shirt and black shorts. The man also had a long ponytail and an overgrown beard and mustache.
The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a reward of up to $20,000 for information leading directly to Decker’s arrest.
Anyone who has been in the area in the last 24 hours and seen a man matching that description is asked to contact the U.S. Marshals Service Communication Center at 1-800-336-0102 or submit a tip online by clicking here.
