SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — A wildfire continues to burn in southwest Spokane County near Rosalia.
According fire investigators, the Siegel Fire was caused by humans, but the exact cause is still under investigation.
The fire grew from more than 400 acres on Wednesday to approximately 680 by Thursday afternoon.
Evacuations ordering people to leave now (Level 3) are still in effect for the areas between Bonnie Lake and Texas Ferry Road north of Bafus Place. Evacuations are also in effect for north from Bonnie Lake to Cheney Plaza Road, east to Wells Road, south Bafus Place, and west to Bonnie Lake.
