GREER, Idaho — Firefighters are working to contain a 6-acre wildfire near Greer, Idaho.
According to the Idaho Department of Lands, the fire was reported around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday evening near Old Greer Grade Road.
IDL, the U.S. Forest Service, the Nez Perce Tribe and the Clearwater Potlatch Timber Protection Association are working to create containment lines, slow the spread of the fire and protect structures in the area.
There are no evacuation orders in place. Five structures are currently threatened.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
