SPOKANE, Wash. — Riverfront Park will host three major cultural celebrations in one event on June 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Taste of Asia Festival, Philippine American Friendship Celebration, and Sister City Bench Dedication will take place simultaneously, offering residents a free opportunity to experience Asian culture and cuisine.
The Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander Coalition organizes the event with the Spokane Parks Foundation and local community groups including the Filipino American Northwest Association, Spokane Chinese Association, and Indian Youth Club of Spokane.
The celebration features cultural performances, a karaoke contest with prizes, and interactive cultural booths.
Live cooking demonstrations will showcase traditional Asian culinary techniques and cultural storytelling.
Food trucks will serve Asian cuisine throughout the event, along with beer, drinks, and market vendors.
Community Health Association of Spokane (CHAS) Health will provide a mobile clinic on-site for the entire event duration, offering health services to attendees at no cost.
