PULLMAN, Wash. — Newly surfaced bodycam footage reveals a potential eyewitness who claims she saw murder suspect Bryan Kohberger at the scene before four University of Idaho students were killed.
The video, confirmed as authentic by ABC News, shows a woman wrapped in a gray blanket being questioned at a Pullman holding facility during an unrelated DUI arrest. During the interview, the woman identifies herself as a DoorDash driver who was making a delivery to the King Road home when she allegedly encountered Kohberger.
“And now I have to testify because I’m the DoorDash driver,” the woman says in the footage from last year.
When officers asked her to clarify which case she was referring to, the woman responded: “The murder with the college girls… I’m the DoorDash driver. I saw Bryan there. I parked next to him.”
This week, Judge Steven Hippler heard arguments from the prosecution and defense on whether or not to delay the scheduled trial start date on August 11. Hippler said an official decision would happen in the coming days but indicated both sides should prepare for the date to not change.
