SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — Spokane County and Fairchild firefighters knocked down a house fire early Monday morning.
According to firefighters on scene, the fire was reported around 2:30 a.m. at a home near 12th Avenue and Flint Road.
People inside the home had already safely evacuated.
Firefighters say the fire started on the first floor and spread to the second floor. They were able to quickly contain it.
The cause is under investigation.
